Integrity
We act in the best interest of veterans at all times, handling each case with honesty, accountability, and respect.
At Freedom Claims Agency, we’re dedicated to helping veterans and their families navigate the VA disability compensation process with clarity and purpose. As a VA-accredited advocacy organization, we bring a deep understanding of VA procedures, regulations, and medical evidence requirements to every case. From expert consultations and claim audits to evidence gathering and direct filing, we provide accurate, personalized VA appeals services designed to secure the benefits you’ve rightfully earned.
Freedom Claims Agency was founded in December 2024 by Greg Brittnacher, an Air Force veteran with nearly a decade of experience in veteran advocacy, and Leah Brittnacher, a licensed psychologist with over ten years of clinical experience. After years of working with veterans through complex claims and appeals, they saw an opportunity to build something different: a veteran-centered agency focused exclusively on VA disability appeals.
Their shared vision was shaped by a simple but powerful belief—that every veteran’s story matters, and their sacrifices deserve to be recognized by the VA. Freedom Claims Agency was built to stand in the gap where too many veterans feel unheard, offering not just skilled representation, but a path to compensation, care, and recognition.
Since becoming a VA-accredited claims agent in December 2024, we’ve been proud to represent veterans at every stage of the appeals process—including achieving successful outcomes before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals. As word of our work has spread, we’ve built a strong reputation among veterans for our expert guidance, responsive communication, and proven results.
Today, Freedom Claims Agency is a small, dedicated team providing highly personalized, one-on-one advocacy for veterans navigating the VA appeals process. We bring thoughtful strategy, clear communication, and steady guidance to each client we represent.
As a sustaining member of the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates (NOVA), Greg stays committed to ongoing education and professional excellence in VA advocacy. Dr. Brittnacher continues to apply and expand her expertise in the mental health field as a licensed psychologist.
At Freedom Claims Agency, our mission is to empower veterans by providing expert, compassionate, and personalized advocacy in their pursuit of VA disability appeals. We’re dedicated to honoring each veteran’s service by listening to their stories, uncovering the truths in their records, and fighting for the recognition and benefits they’ve earned.
We strive to maximize veteran benefits and deliver what we call “freedom through three pillars”:
Freedom Through Compensation
We help veterans secure the benefits connected to their service, so they can gain greater stability, reduce stress, and focus on what matters most.
Freedom Through Healthcare
By securing service-connected benefits, we help open the door to essential VA healthcare—connecting veterans with the treatment and services that support their well-being.
Freedom Through Validation
Most importantly, we fight for the recognition that every veteran deserves, helping ensure their service is acknowledged and their story is honored by the VA.
At Freedom Claims Agency, our work is grounded in three core values: integrity, compassion, and excellence. These principles guide every decision we make and every action we take on behalf of the veterans we serve.
Integrity
We act in the best interest of veterans at all times, handling each case with honesty, accountability, and respect.
Compassion
We recognize the unique challenges veterans face and approach every case with empathy and care.
Excellence
We bring professionalism, focus, and expertise to every appeal—because our clients deserve nothing less.
At Freedom Claims Agency, we’re more than just claims specialists—we’re dedicated advocates who bring personal experience, professional expertise, and a veteran-first mindset to every case. Meet the team behind your appeal.

Greg Brittnacher’s path of service began when he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Forces member after high school. He was stationed at Minot AFB, Royal Air Force Alconbury, and deployed to Camp Anaconda/Balad AFB in Iraq. These experiences shaped his dedication to service and strengthened his commitment to supporting fellow veterans.

As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Brittnacher brings specialized expertise in mental health to support veterans navigating the VA claims process. She plays a key role in assisting with claims and appeals involving mental health conditions, helping ensure veterans receive accurate evaluations and the benefits they deserve.
We’re proud to be recognized for both our professional commitment to veterans’ advocacy and our veteran-owned status. These designations reflect the standards we hold ourselves to—and the values we share with those we serve.
